Bluff City Materials, Inc. is a sand and gravel operation with locations in Elgin, Bartlett, South Elgin, and South Beloit. Bluff City has been mining for aggregates since 1988. We supply materials such as, FA-2 torpedo sand, CA-16 pea gravel , CA-7/11 washed gravel, as well as CA-6 grade 9 and FA-6 trench backfill. We serve a diverse customer base, which includes concrete, ready-mix, asphalt plants, and underground contractors.
Bluff City also takes in clean broken concrete for our recycle operation which produces CA-6 and CA-1 crushed concrete. In our reclamation activities we accept clean construction fill and clean compactable clay for future building projects. Please feel free to browse around our website.
